FAQ – Questions about the Hafenküche

Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible?

The Hafenküche is at ground level, except for the fireplace séparée, and is therefore wheelchair-accessible. We also have a disabled toilet that is accessible for wheelchair users.

Can I pay by card?

You can pay by EC card, major credit cards as well as Google and Apple Pay.

Where can I park?

A few parking spaces are available in front of the Hafenküche. Please note that the car parking spaces in the courtyard may be subject to a charge in summer. If these are occupied, you can park your car in Gustav-Holzmann-Straße and walk the short distance from there (approx. 200 metres) along the waterfront to us.

How can I book a table?

The simplest option is to make a reservation for up to 8 guests directly via our homepage. You will find the BOOK A TABLE button at the bottom right of the Restaurant page. For groups of more than 8 people, please send an email to office@hafenkueche.de. You can reserve a table over the phone by calling +49 30 42219926.

Please note that we will release a reserved table for other guests 15 minutes after the time you have booked (does not apply to prepaid reservations).

I would like to celebrate an event at the Hafenküche, how can I get in touch with you?

We would be delighted to plan your event together. Please fill out the enquiry form at the bottom of the Your event page plenty of time before the event.

Are dogs allowed in the Hafenküche?

Dogs with good manners are welcome here.

Are there vegetarian or vegan dishes?

You will find vegetarian dishes on our menu, which can also be prepared as vegan options.

Is it okay for me to bring my children to the Hafenküche?

We see ourselves as a restaurant for the whole family! However, we do ask for your understanding that it is important to us that parents keep an eye on their children at all times, if only because of our proximity to the water. The dining room at the back is reserved for guests aged 16 and above from 20:00. Alternatively, we have seats available in the front area for families with children.

Where can I order catering boxes from the Hafenküche?

Where can I buy vouchers for the Hafenküche and for how long are they valid?

You can buy Hafenküche vouchers here on our homepage and in the restaurant. The vouchers expire at the end of the second year after the date of issue.

You will find not only the Hafenküche, Kantine and Spreedeck, but also the Grillplatz Hafenküche barbecue area, the houseboat Spreeapartments, the boat rental Spreeboote hire and the saloon boat GRACE.
