Restaurant Hafenküche

300 square metres of special atmosphere and a selection of new dishes & Hafenküche classics. Ingredients sourced fresh from the market, perfect cooking techniques, fresh herbs, the best cuts of meat cooked on an open charcoal grill. Hand-picked wines, predominantly from France, Austria and Germany await you. In winter, our fireplaces provide plenty of comforting warmth. In summer, the restaurant is filled with sunshine when we open our 18 metre long glass façade.

Gastgeber Hafenküche - Freddy und Mathias

The captains of our team are Frederik Grieb & Mathias Brandweiner. Frederik gained Michelin-star experience both on the high seas and on land. Some of his former positions include roles as sous-chef for Dieter Müller on the MS Europa and as head chef in the Pots restaurant at the Ritz Carlton in Berlin.

Host and partner Mathias Brandweiner brings a breath of fresh air to the Hafenküche with his many years of experience in top restaurants. Recognised as Berlin Host of the Year in 2019, Mathias delights with his Austrian charm and loves to spoil his guests with exciting wines.
